Hey there. Welcome back to the episode on growth mindset here at Optimize Your Life podcast. So today what I’d like to do is it really explain what a growth mindset is and in order for me to do that, I want to start out by taking a look at what a fixed mindset is in order to understand what a growth mindset is not. So we\u2019re to start by looking at the opposite end of the stick and then once you get a clear understanding of what a growth mindset is, then we’re going to talk about how you can cultivate it for yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

So just like with any other process, a fixed mindset is basically a set of thoughts and what we know is that thoughts lead to feelings which lead to behaviors and that’s why it’s important to understand the cascade of events, things that happen inside of us. So let’s take a look at the kinds of thoughts that somebody with a fixed mindset actually holds so that you can see why you perhaps if that’s you you’re getting the kinds of results that you’re getting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
